why do you have 4 threads of the same topic? should keep it all in one as to not clutter up the forum. Your asking questions that have been answered in your other topics...

Jimmymac...you started 4 threads regarding buying a GS. I have merged them all to one single thread. DO NOT start a new thread on this topic again.

All these things I have on my car besides the wood steering wheel.

I've spent only $500 give or take a few. Why not save a few bucks and add the upgrades? More fun that way too.

the 430 engine and the 400 engine are EXACTLY the same except some of internals so how would they be any easier to mod? same engine bay/same motor....just as easy

I have OEM HID headlights too.
your car only has the same amount of wood because you bought the pieces from a GS430 and put them in your car, it didnt come this way

your headlights MAYBE OEM HID parker BUT they were a option on the gs400 they standard on the 430

i just bought my 03 gs430 last september and it took my a coulpe months of research (im picky) and test driving but i finally decided i like the the 430 better then the 400 and im very happy with my decision. Also the 400 are known to have more ball joint issues then the 430.

Whatever you end up with, make sure you get your black interior!! You've already stated a preference for it. Don't settle for tan, you'll regret it. Be patient and get what you really want.

For the record, I love my 400. I use my eshift several times a week. If you're really want to go crazy with performance get the 300 and drop in a 2jzgte. If you're not inclined to spend the money or time, then get the 400/430. It has a nice kick in the pants!! The stock I6, IMO, is underwhelming.

I agree, although gray isn't that bad either..

I've 3 GS's and have had all the interior color's except Saddle so far..

tan seems more luxury and classy,

gray is luxury with a little added sporty feel..

and black feels much smaller and sportier..

The price of adding the wood is still going to be less than the price difference between the 430 and 400. Just find a GS that came with HIDs. Lol

Where are all of the other 400 guys to help back me up?

I think 430 is more luxerious, slightly than a 400. I prefer the sportier feel of the 400, especially the e-shift. I use mine several times a week. Luckily my new black interior came with wheel that has shift. I wouldn't trade it for a wood wheel.

Not really man, you can find GS400's and 430's around the 9-10.5k range all day..

I think the gs400's are real nice, there is just a definite newer feeling driving around the 430..
