Welcome to Club Lexus. You got to kidding right?! j/k

The GS430 is many times better over than a 01 Acura TL.. One of my friends had an '03 TL and after he encountered me at a red light - he then preceded to buy a GS430.. hehe

-Longevity wise (if the car is maintained well) A GS can go 300K miles without any problems - there have been reports that some members have reach over 400K miles!!

I have two of them (GS400 & GS430) and i've owned all kinds of cars.. The 2nd Gen GS ('98-'05) in IMO is the best cars on the planet..!

There is no comparison.

V6+FWD VS. V8+RWD

The GS is a clear winner.

Default Acura V Lexus

Acura builds a really nice Honda, Lexus is a definite step up, especially with a V8. For me, a 2GS with V8 is the flagship car Jaguar wishes it could build. Get ready for jealousy when you tell friends and family you bought a Lexus.

I'll take a GS430 over an Acura TL any day...
