Default Lease ended on GS350....Bought myself a GS300

Well guys, after a looong hiatus from CL and the Lexus brand, ( owned a Lightning and Mustang GT between the 2008 GS350 and the this GS) I am glad to be back in a Lexus and back on CL.

My search for the perfect car started months ago, when I realized that my Lightning would not be good for a family, duh its a 2 door truck, so i figured a mustang has back seats my kids could go in the back... wrong... so I sold both and Bought this.... now my 2 kids (2yrs old and 6 months old) can ride in comfort.

here she is, I will be flying up to pick her up this Saturday, with only 70k miles, pre-owned by and older couple, its perfect, garage kept with less than 9k miles driven per year, this was the perfect car to mod.

2003 GS300 Sport Design I looked long and hard for the "perfect" GS300.

I will get better pics when I pick her up, she is Smokey Granite on Black. Bought her for $13,9 OTD. Cant wait to drive her home.

Nice car. After you've driven her a while, maybe you could do a writeup between the 300 and 350. I am curious how much better the 3.5 engine is in practice

I can tell you from driving time in the 3.5, that engine is amazing, it really is. Great power, smooth, and efficient, a bit noisy at idle due to the direct injection. I will miss the Hp the 3.5 made. But then again it wasnt a race car.

thats a hell of a deal. i got my 99 for $9700. with 64k miles and could'nt find another with under 99k miles for less than $12-$13,000 reguardless of year. unless it had over 150k then they were $5-6,000.

congrats on the gs. i just got mine 2 weeks ago and have put over 4,000 miles on it and i LOVE it more every day.

That is pricey for a GS300. You should get a GS430 instead. Sooner or later you will realize it and it will be too late.

You get what you pay for, I got it for $12,900 + my state taxes and tag. I wanted the GS300, for Turbo-ability. I do drive alot, so the 6cyl is fine by me.

Ouch...coming from the mustang and a ford lighting, the GS3 is gonna be so slow. Should've gone with a 400 or 430.

not too worried, I'm gonna be low and slow.. LOL, I plan on a turbo being installed and 400RWHP is what I'm aiming for as a daily.

I have 2 kids, so the fast is not in the agenda as much anymore.

Congrats on the new car.. I see you've had fast cars before, but since you're thinking turbo, the 2jz is perfect.
