Hello everyone, I searched and searched but did not find any information on this, but the dome light in my 04 gs 300 doesn't work when i press the buttons labeled "A", actually the one closer to the drivers side works if i jiggle the button a bit and seems like the wiring or the button connection is not being made, I removed the clear plastic cover and removed the two screws where the red circles are and pulled the side down with the blue rectangle and that is all i could do...please help... thanks in advance...

Pull it all apart and see if it just needs cleaning. Its hard to diagnose something without it in front of you. If it were mine, I'd disassemble it and look for any type of discrepancies in the wiring.

check the contacts and wires in the back of the unit...might be loose.

I am trying to detach the whole thing from the vehicle, but but after I unscrew the two screws...what do I do next, only the half with the blue rectangle side comes out the other side seems it is going to snap, what are the steps to take it apart from the vehicle, it do not want to break anything

try taking that whole assembly out. pry the whole plastic housing out.

pop off the garage door control plate with a screwdriver.there's 2 more screws in there.then the whole housing pops out.
