I would use this: http://www.google.com/products/catal...d=0CCQQ8gIwAg#

It's clear red spray paint from Tamiya. Both my friend and I used this on our cars and it makes the tails look brand new. It's $5 and takes about 5 minutes to do. Better than spending the money on new tail lights.

I also got pulled over for faded inner tail lights, so i ordered new ones off ebay for about 40 each...can anyone tell me if they are supposed to stay on when lights are on OR just for braking?? Mine stay on constantly when lights are on, i thought they were just for braking. Thanks, Karen..1999 GS300

hey twyst... what kind of rims are those?? how much and where did you get them from? PM me.

and to give an update on my inner lens i ended spray painting them to match with my other. And about 2 weeks ago I ended up buying some LED tails for $170 for the whole set!

Regardless thanks for the tips fellas.

Mines was never faded and kept the dark red color. I sold it to a member here already, but 9/10 of the time the inners fade to a light pink color. I suggest you get the LED taillights, itll make your car look so much newer and more modern.
