Default Video of my chopping noise

Here is a vid of the chopping noise my wheels make. When I switch wheels and tires and it does essentially the same thing so i'm not sure. Would cupping tires make this sound ( lower control arm may be bad). Noise is loudest around 45 and becomes a consistent hum at 60+

Did you try switching the front wheels with the rears?

It kinda sounds like a bad wheelbearing.

Do you know where its coming from, front or rear, left or right?

I would guess bearring first and brakes second.

Good luck

Yep i've switched wheels front and back, the wheel doesn't shake back and forth like it's supposed to if the bearing is shot. Sounds are def coming from driver front wheel.

It may be the brakes now that I think about it!

Sounds like tire cupping to me. Check out your shocks, it's probably no good. Or the tire you got is wearing uneven causes noise. If wheel bearing is bad, jack the car up and shake the wheel to see for freeplay. Also when you turn it should make a nasty grinding noise. Too many possibilities without checking.

There are no nasty noises when turning or even hitting bumps, I know the shocks are fine. Shouldn't a bad LCA cause tire cupping? When I had my alignment done the guy said I may need new LCA's so i'm guessing that's the biggest culprit. I'm pretty sure it's not the wheel bearing , it's between brakes and LCA

If you jack up the car and spin the front wheels can you hear the noise? If not get an automotive stethoscope and try again. It will allow you to pinpoint the noise.
