Now you've finally came to the connector which twists off ccw.
After this.....There is a spring wire which actually holds the bulb in. You push and out on each side of the spring wire to release the bulb. You can now pull the bulb out "Very Carefully".

I don't know about you guys but stock lexus HID sucks....
Hell, I had a set of HID headlights with HID and I desided my Piaa bulbs looked just as good for $70...

take a look again at the lighting against the wall...2 problems:
1. The cutoff is screwed up.
2. The 8000k is actually not as bright as stock ones. Notice how the stock lights hit the wall and make it barely visible due to all the light. The 8000k gives you a a bluer color, however the brightness is missing.

i am sure lex400sc is very frustrated now.....
1) look at the wall pics........ the 8000k bulb don't have a clear focus.....
2) the 8000k is not brighter, that's color temperature, not light intensity
3) starting from 4300k it's only getting dimmer and dimmer
4) 6000k is pure white, 8000k is blue
but it doesn' look cool if you look straight at it though, i have to admit the color is awesome.
synergy, your hid is not 7000k, if it's straight from the dealer it's 4100k. i don't think dealer will put on 7000k, which is illegal. next week when i drive back my acura you can take a look at my 6000k hid, you will know what i am talking about (unless you changed the bulbs yourself already?!)

Rominl - I haven't posted on this thread yet, however mine are totally stock 4100 Lexus HID. I must say, the 8000 looks pretty damn cool. Does auto leveling still work enginyr? Also, what brand bulb, where do you get them, and how much are the 8000 bulbs?

Wow.. that must truely suck for you. It looks a lot sweeter, but taking out the autoleveling must not be good because its helped me in a few situations.
But one question: With autoleveling, how much of a delay is there? once I hit a ditch in the road (a dip) and i was going hella fast... something like 90.. and the lights didnt change, but when i got back up, they went down, and then back to a good level... so its almost like the computer in the car was too slow to react.
