Vibration at idle? Anyone found a cure for this problem?
I noticed on my 2003 GS430 the car feels to vibrate a bit when the engine is warmed up and I'm sitting at a stoplight idling...
Is there a known fix for this issue or do you basically learn to live with it?

how many miles you got? check your motor mount to make sure they are not bad... idle might be a little low ,,, but what its on when your on idle? you might need to check the TPS...( thottle position sensor... ) hope this help... its a start

i need suggestions too. I have a gs 300. 1st I cleaned the throttle body, then spark plugs. I just had timing belt and motor mounts done a week ago. I'm doing trans mount tomorrow because I still have vibration in the steering wheel at idle. It's seems to be getting worse though so it might be a vacuum leak.

if it started only a short time ago.. i would suggest checking for a vaccuum leak first. depending on mileage of the car.. engine mounts could be a problem but i think the trans mount would cause more of a problem while driving. i would try doing an ignition tune up after doing a vaccuum check because some of the hoses may be brittle from heat and time

there is a serious rough idle when I hit a red light and I'm currently trying to run some diagnostics on my TPS, which took a crap. Could it be that along with cleaning out their throttle body that they should check their TPS, as well?
