Default for those with stock / aftermarket HID, pleae help, urgent

i am wondering, where does lexus put your stock ballasts?? my 98 gs 400 doesn't have hid, and i will most likely get one this sat and put it on. however i was checking out my car and i am not sure where i should "stick" my ballasts to. the two fender wall on each side of the car looks good, but it gets hot after driving dunno if that's bad for the ballasts?

for those with aftermarket hids, where do you put your ballasts at then?

thanks!

I put the passenger side one under the SRT air filter. I put the driver side one on top of the fender as the only place unless I add more wiring to put elsewhere.

It's been awhile since I had a GS headlamp disassembled but I think the OEM ballasts are mounted on the bottom of th eactual headlamp assembly.

I've it for 3 months and they're looking great.
One of the relay was out so I changed it myself. They did mail me another one though. It costs 5 bucks and that's the only problem so far. I do highly recommend them for their great services and quality products.

I forgot to tell you it came with the double side tape. I bet 3M will do just fine if your ballasts need it.
