i don't remember when the supercharged jaguar showed up, but i was referring to the E36 M3. the sedan auto is faster than the gs400, and the manual if even faster than the sedan of course. the sedans are simply coupes with the extra doors. everything is mostly the same, even the gear ratios.
the newer m3's, whew, now that's scary...

lexus vs bmw just won't die. like i said, i agree fully on whether the lex driver and launch at higher rpms instead of just stomping on the gas and whether the bmw guy knows what he's really doing. i don' think that any of these will beat any of the other without a sweat everytime, but the margins of time are small so stories will always conflict.
