$430 to replace one coil and wires from lexus dealer????
My car had a check engine light for a cylinder 5 misfire so instead of being d****d around by toyota I took it straight to lexus. They told me it was a bad coil and it comes with new wires so I should replace those 2 even though I just did new plugs and wires less than 2 months ago!! They said it is $430 parts and labor to do this. Does this price seem right or a lil bit high?? I picked up my car today and after about 10 minutes of driving its doing the same thing WTF. I called them and they told me to bring it back tomorrow. If it wasnt for the lexus loaner I probably wouldnt bring it back lol

too high
id find the part in either a junk yard or online through one of the vendors. Have a reputable shop do it.
For example i took my car for an estimate at the Lex dealer for Balljoints and Tierods. They quoted me $650 ....... that was LABOR ONLY! They said it would be an 7 hour job + tax.
Bought my own parts for less than 300 and got my friend to install it for free. All he wanted was the Tie Rod puller tool that cost me $30 bux.
Took him 20 min each side
