I was on Club Aristo and hit some random link, and it took me to a gallery of cars mainly a bunch of Aristo's and Altezza's but at the bottom I saw this car (pic below). I hope to god this isnt the new Aristo/GS. I cant read the text code on the japanese site so I have no idea what it said underneath it. But it did have an interior shot of it and there was a Toyota symbol on the steering wheel.To me it looks like a little LS430 from the front, but look at the lights, they look a bit GS'ish on the first pic, and it says something that looks like it could say Aristo on the back left on pic 2. Someone prove me wrong and tell me what this ugly thing is.I imagine its some random Toyota model that isnt coming here but i had to bring this up since it was on an Aristo site.

if this is it, I want my reward!!

It might be, it looks like Lexus may go the 745i ls430 route with that design. Ah well.

Nah, it can't be.... I know Lexus isn't going to make the same mistake that BMW did with there new 7 series.... :eek: That Lex is butt, it looks like a Daewoo....

Actually the new GS will look simular to the one Fake pic everyone has seen.

It will still keep the four headligts but they will be smaller, especially the inner ones. It is alittle more slanted but still very round....it's not that atractive....

Well...I'll be buying a new 7 in April....it's the nicest sedan in the world short a Bentley IMO.....

ok i got an idea for everyone regarding the new Aristo/GS. How about we all WAIT until a REAL picture of it is released. A photoshopped LS 430 isn't gonna buy me. And why in gods name would it even have license plates yet? Wait until Toyota officially releases it. There's no reason to have all this hype about something that isn't real.
Have some patience and WAIT.

Lexus is keeping the wraps on this one (pictures, information, etc)

Supposely, they will be selling them early in Spring 2003.

But I have no clue what Lexus is up too...hopefully they suprise us and please, no hybrid vehicle.

Good luck to ya. I know two people with 'em and they both say it's got tons of features and drives nice but the iDrive and navigation systems both SUCK and are unusable.

I did have a GREAT cruise with one recently though...

A white 745Li (looked like a white whale) was going along in the right lane. I pulled up in the left lane along side, looked at the driver. He looked at me, and I hit it. We went triple digits for about 20 miles. He couldn't hang with me on curves and I seemed to have more acceleration from 80+. It was GREAT FUN though. When he eventually took an exit I slowed and we both gave thumbs up with huge grins.

future, the only thing that looks photoshopped in that pic is the gaussian blur around the car, looks like someone didnt know how to make a good selection around it and just winged it, the rest of it looks legit, I feel you on the liscence plates though. What the hell is this thing???

I got this picture from some other magazine, I believe it's more likely the 04' GS, at least I can see the "Aristo" on the license plate. It said the new GS300 will be powered by 3-3.5L V6, but Turbo will not be import to US due to SMOG. The new GS400 will be powered by a brand new 4.0L engine to compete with E500. Any comments???

dude the pic is so chopped, i mean jesus, look at the front headlights....replicas of LS430 plus the front grill was chopped on there. And what about those ES300 wheels?
