Default New GS !possible confirmation!

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t48874.html

IT's not from toyota or anything, but...

I think this is a pretty strong hint that this is probably if not the new GS (to be) or the Toyota baby version of the new GS.

Ok, if that black pic of that 'new' GS in the thread above this, this must be the toyota version of the american GS..or something like that. Maybe a baby LS for the Japanese market (like the GX)

Brevis..hmm

It says "Brevis" on the license plate. From what I understand the Brevis is a totally separate model that has been sold in Japan for years...as we all know, the GS is the Aristo

The Brevis has been around for a while in the Japanese market and has nothing to do with the GS

Ok, nevermind.. ;-)

I only assumed this was a close link to the new GS because of that old pic that was floating around of that car that everyone thought was a photochop.

It's been confirmed that it's only the Brevis..not the new GS. But my personal opinion is that it is probably a relative to the GS line. I.E. Camry to ES. (or windom) ;-)

another reason why it can't be the GS is because it has the Mercedez Like door handles, the one that pulls out instead of putting ur fingers underneath it, if any of u know about this, I dont know of any lexus's having that

Toyota wouldn't replace a current model with another existing model... only the new model of the current model.

few years ago people said the new Mark II would replace the ES300. I was VERY SURE that it'll still just be a new Windom that'll stil become the new ES300.

I believe that none of the current models in Japan would replace the GS. There will simply be a new Aristo. And since Aristo is the only new Toyota in Japan right now that has the 2JZ-GTE, I don't think the new Aristo will be anything but Sporty yet Classy, like the current model.

So **** Brevis and Verossa and the old looking cars. They don't match the engine. (even tho Verossa has 1JZ-GTE)

If that Brevis pic is the next gen GS, man, I'm happier to hold on to mine longer.

It doesn't look sporty and it doesn't exemplify a sport sedan that GS is classified as.

Check this picture from the Toyota website of the Brevis. It's got GS4 rims!
