Default rattling spoiler

I have a system in my 2001 GS 300, and the spoiler rattles really bad. Anyone have any ideas of how to mask it a bit or even better stop it?

I guarantee that its the LED strip (unless its a different sound) With the bass I broke the plastic cylinder that the screw goes through, so it was rattling like crazy... The way it broke, there was no way to solve it :/

best way though to get rid of all the trunk rattles is by building either a forth order ported through the stock sub location or baffle off the box facing forward and you'll be good

Yea I'm pretty sure it is coming from the LED strip, but I dont know if it is worth getting a new one. I don't think dynomatting the trunk will fix it if it is the LED lights either. I have a custom box ported already so it fits up in the back cubby.

If its the actual led housing and not what I described (in other words, if you can hold the LED and the noise is gone) you can get some clear epoxy and with a toothpick you can put it between the strip and the spoiler to stop it from rattling. try tightening the screws underneath the strip to see if that helps.

Thanks, Im sure that will take care of some of it. When I look closer I can see the actual individual LEDs hitting the plastic housing which makes noise too.

Oh really? Dont think the epoxy will work if the led board broke off good luck. keep us updated

Make sure you get deep in there and make a solid fill and not just a bridge on the surface. A bridge will break, but if filled in, it will stay strong. Start in the middle and work your way out.
