Default Cruise Control

How the hell do you get it to work? Ive never really used it, and Ive searched for it, but did not really find an answer.

I push the little button in and it says "Cruise" on the dash or something like that. I follow the directions to Set Coast, but nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

PS.

Whats the Cruise Control speed limit?

well for my car. first gen GS. all you have to do is push the button in until light says cruise. after than you just pull the stick down for like 1 sec. that locks it in the speed you are going. now if you want to speed up just keep tapping it up or hold it up. and to slow down tap it down or pull it down. to cancel just pull it towards you or step on the breaks. stepping on the gas while in cruise will just make you go faster until you let it go. after that it goes back to the speed you locked it at. i believe minimum is 25MPH.

You shouldn't have to hold it. Just pull it down briefly and let go. Maybe your 'flick' didn't bring it fully down to engage it.

Hmmm... is there something that could be wrong or something? It looks like this is not working for me? Let me try this again later.

Do I need to hold down the gas pedal or can I cruise and do it?

as long as you are going faster than 25MPH all you have to do is tap it down towards your knee's not towards your body. if your foot was on the gas pedal you will feel it go in a little.
