It's probably a true Sport Design, just have to figure out the headlight situation. Has the right wheels, trunk spoiler, and fender badges. If you go check it out, make sure the front door sills, the ashtray, and floor mats say Sport Design. It should also have the silver face climate control and radio/or nav unit. Headlights should be HID and yellow fogs. That's all I can think of right now... Leather & wood steering wheel and all wood shift ****.

I say True SD but the headlights look legit in certain lighting in the pictures

And fogs are yellow u can see the yellow film inside

OP run a carfax and see if it shows anything or take it to your local dealer for a inspection or check around for any visible signs of repair but its not to shabby man

Looks goood. Just because the headlights are swapped doesnt mean its been in a collision. Just see it in person, have a reputable shop look at it also.

 

true, it doesn't necessarily mean that but why else would you swap out some $1400 headlights for some $500 ones?

 

The owner could very well have pocketed the extra cash from insurance...

Well the guy sent me pics i just havnt had the time to post, interior is flawless and its a legit sport design, hopefully ill go check it out this weekend. I'll post some pics when i get home from work. Thx for the suggestions.

now that im actually thinking about it, didnt some years of the sport designs NOT come with the SD grey bezels and come with the regular green inners?

 

dont know about 02, but my 03 and other 03 sports i've seen all have grey/graphite headlights.

someone brought up a great point that the owner may have replaced the headlights due to the lens hazing up. SD headlights look hazy in certain angles.
