I'm utterly shocked to see that you were able to fit your LX in there.
Lol, yeah. I cleaned up most of the garage. I can park 3 cars in. The fourth bay in the garage I turned into the storage area. I have 3 industrial racks taking up that space in the 4th parking spot.
Optimally you'd want engine management for that kind of power lol, so yes, you do need it. Running a 10:1 AFR is not exactly healthy, going from that rich to a proper tune 12ish you can gain something like 40-80whp. If you're talking about an Apexi AFC or something like that...they're USELESS, and should not be considered a piggy back. With a proper piggy back you can input the right timing and fuel, but you're still limited to the speed of the stock ECU.
Either way, if you like a nice smooth running car, do it right the first time.
my supra was never running at a 10 A/F, no way. I dont know where you got that assumption, but I was at a consistent 12 +/- .2. Check out MAP ecu, never had problems with them. never had problems with their software either. They have been the best for the price..When I said "piggyback," I didn't mean SAFC. Sorry if that confused you.
With just the kit and no fuel system, I achieved somewhere over 500whp. Injector duty cycle was almost maxed out. (I had a SnapOn modus hooked up to my car to read that.)
apex-i SAFC? hahaha, thats funny..trust me, that would never be on my supra. Or any vehicle I own.

I had a Blitz SBC-iColor if that counts. lol
I wasn't exactly arguing with you, I was sort of expanding to your post, adding some insight for other members incase they skimmed your post and summarized it as "run a big turbo and fuel on your stock ecu and it will be fine."
