I had this happen the other day.... but only while I was in a specific location. I had a fresh battery so I knew that wasn't the case. The only explanation was there was another strong signal in the area jamming the same frequency of the remote. Worked just fine after leaving that parking lot.

Do u guys have tint, cause it could be the TYPE of tint you have.

BTW SEARCH next time this issue has been beat to death also.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ange-prob.html

if u put it under your chin and press the button the range normally is also amplified using your body as a antennae and NO I'm not joking

ditto, at the most 10ft away would be my limit, anywhere farther than that and it's hit or miss

I have ceramic tint on all my windows. Front windshield, front drivers and passenger side as well as rear. No issues at 2-3 car lengths away.

Kozy04 is right on the money. It totally works! My Lexus sales person told me about it. Kinda creepy pointing it at my head, so I rarely do it.

The "beeper" in the car that beeps when I hit the remote is getting awfully quiet now, too.

Maybe everything is wearing out?! The remote, the beeper and my ears?!
