Ok now I THOUGHT this was due to parking on a sheet of ice overnight because there was alot of snow out here. Now, when I park for about 8 hours or so and when its about 35 degrees or colder when I first start the car and only for the first 5 blocks i hear a squeaking noise which sounds like its coming from one of the front wheels and I think it happens more as im turning but I cant tell. But once I drive 5 blocks it goes away. What can this be like a wheel bearing maybe? the brakes? thanks everyone

Here's what you can do. On a cold morning, go out and bounce the front end. If you can't reproduce the sound, the next step would be to jack up your front end and spin the front wheels. If you still haven't heard anything, start the car and roll down the window, pump the brake pedal a few times, and turn the steering wheel lock to lock. Then come and let us know which one of those tests produced the noise, that way it will be much easier to pin point.

I just experienced it again. I noticed it only happens when its wet or cold and has been sitting a while. It also only makes the noise when I turn the wheel while moving. Could it be the power steering fluid?
