Getting new tires tomorrow, I need someone's help fast
OK here's the thing, I got the inside tire wear problem on my 02 GS430 and IM looking at just getting all 4 tires replaced, I got what I think is a good deal for some Toyo ZF4's, which is $104 a tire, I need to know if those are good tires, and if they ride quieter then the OEM potenza's because they became kind of annoying with the road noise some times, I wanted to get 265/40/17 in the back and 235/45/17 in the front, would this combo look good, and would it be the same thickness? and if so could I put 245/45/17, would it look any thinner then the back, and I searched about this topic but got confused reading everything, some people saying 255 is the best, other's saying 265 isn't good, and what not but I need someone who already did this or knows someone who did and if it looks nice and works nice, thanks

well,
fz4 is decent for the price...
the sizes you listed are fine interms of overall diameter(tallness)..but the 265/40 is kind of rare size...and i would get 245/45/17 for the front...
85% of tyres out there are better than the stock stones...
take alook at yokos avs es100, great tyres for the price...

FZ4's are fine
For the bucks, the Toyo FZ4's are a good tire, in my opinion. I had a set on my GS before going to bigger wheels and had no complaints. They're not T1-S's but I think they're a good value.

$104? you don't know how much it hurts to think about how much i paid. ignorance is not bliss, believe me.
you know, unless you're really a "driver," these are great for that price. you don't need to blow the cash on something fancy like T1-s or S0-3s. for that price, do it
