I can't tell the difference if HID or not. I know HID's have the AFS motors, but I can't personally make out the difference visually and do not have the experience to tell.

They don't look like HID, because theres no ballast or auto level that i can see. The ballast are at the bottom of the headlight and are rather large.

Plus you can also tell by the light bulb, HID uses D2R bulb which is a different connection on the back
