Car will not idle (missing)
Anyone, I have a 98 Lexus GS 300 with 207,000 miles. One day after some heavy rain, I went to start it up and it seemed to be missing. I took the car Advance Auto and the used the scanner tool to pull the code, which verified that it was missing (cylinder 3). I decided to replace all coil packs, wires, and plugs but deployed to Afghanistan before the parts arrived. The car sat for 10 months in my garage with the battery pulled out. Now my car will not hold an idle after I have replaced all the mentioned parts to include a suspected fuel injector. I have received a blinking check engine light, which was cylinder 4 misfiring. I rechecked the coil pack and wires and now no more codes and the engine will not run on its own. I have to hold the accelerator to keep it going, once I let up the engine stalls. Furthermore, I have cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body. At one point, I had the car idle roughly without the need of holding down the accelerator. I have taken it to the Toyota dealership and they want to throw parts at it, like myself, so I decided to tow it to the Lexus dealership in Nashville and the service department basically told me that it wasn't worth it for a car with that many miles. You car barely hear the car idle before this mishap. Help, I'm getting frustrated and don't want to part out my car. Sorry so lengthy, HELP!

Car just threw a p0120 code, which is the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). The symtoms that I have been experiencing are in line with a bad TPS, will be installing on Saturday.
