Default Power source around drivers footwell area? (I searched)
Is there a power source in that area that is easy to tap into? I want to hardwire the GPS charger.

wow really? you have the whole fuse box down there yo, just a matter of finding a wire to use. If nothing else, unhook one of the cigarette lighters and use that as your source and if you use your cigarette lighter often, use the other one.
