Default Looking to buy a GS and need some help!

Wassup guys! I am fairly new to the GS family but had a IS350 and was looking to get a GS from this guy and just wanted some input or advice from anyone who would happen to know. So the guy selling me his GS said everything is fine with it besides 1st gear slipping and he told his uncle over the phone and said its most likely a solenoid. The car has roughly 150k miles on it and he told me he hasn't change the fluids in the tranny yet. Would anyone know what can be the problem.

Usually if the tranny is slipping, it's because the tranny fluid is low. I recommend changing the fluid soon!

Do a drain and fill, NOT a flush!

^^^^ Thats about it, if added fluid doesnt correct it then yea an actual problem exists in the tranny and unless the car is dirt cheap I would stay away.

Why not have him add fluid and see if it corrects the issue before you purchase it?
