I searched and couldn't come up with anything. However, I was wondering if an ES or LS Nakamichi unit could replace the one the GS came with. My Nakamichi unit is making an annoying clicking scatching noise when I use the tape player. I'm going to try and open it up and see if I can fix it before I buy another one but I was still interested in whether other Nakamichi's are swappable.

Here are what the ES and LS units look like. As you can see the LS is identical to the GS's unit and the only difference I see with the ES's is the logo.

I have a nakamichi head unit i pulled from my 98 GS4 that I may sell for the right price. Works fine (tho I never played any cassettes to know if tape player had any issues.)
