I live outside of Detroit in Oakland county, even then you must have a garage, maybe a American Staffordshire Terrier and a Glock to keep your wheels If your dropping cash on a Lux Apt (out here those run $1800-4000 with a garage) drop the cash on a place with a garage or even better for what a Lux Apt runs, buy a home with a garage!!!! 100k worth the cars I am sure you can afford a nice pimped place.

Cool

I feel for you. I had a GS400 with only 650 miles on it and it got totaled in a Flood we had in Miami a while back. My insurance company paid the car in full and I got a GS430 with Nav & ML. Also a bad plumber flooded my Townhouse and got much better replacement carpeting and a marble floor from the insurance company. Both times I made out very well although it was not easy at first.

August has been a very bad month. GS4fun car was stolen out of the body shop and now your car has been torched. Yikes, my sympathy goes out to the both of you. I am really at a loss of words and do not know what to say. I was just in philly this past weekend with my car. I parked it overnight in a garage and you would think it would be safe from vandals. Although nothing happened to the likes of what we been reading here, but someone did swipe my phone attennea and my metal tire valve caps. Those things I can live with so I am not complaining but if someone keyed, stole or worse yet burned down the car than I would be really upset.
After reading all this, I will call state farm and make sure they know about the extra mods I put in my car...just to be safe.

Again sorry to hear about all this bad news.....

My thoughts exactly!

PS Just curious - where was the 02 M3 and how did it get away from being burned?

Sorry to hear!

I'm really interested in what they plan to do with those kids..do the police know who they are?

Getting the law involved insomething like that could really mess up their futures. Financially and even up to their parents.

Condolences, to your GS ;-), and to those kids! They are gunna be x'd over!

This kind of stuff makes me angry as hell. I can't believe the lack of respect some people have.

As said before, better your car than you or your family. Still, very sad to hear though.

Hey!!

The only thing you could do right now is to collect on your insurance and buy another one if thats the route you want to take.

Good luck.

Joe

PS. look on the bright side, atleast you weren't hurt..

I feel for you bro..I wish you the best of luck on picking out the next GS. I would also question your insurance company about any mods. See if you can get some $$ back for the parts. Anyway good luck..
