Another audio question
In the 2001 GS430 with navigation, without Mark L., is the stock audio operated through the nav or with separate controls? I am wondering if I buy one like that, is the sound quality upgradable without using the navigation screen? Thanks again.

Yes, the audio is controlled by the nav touch screen. I think you are going to have a very hard time finding an '01 nav without ML as most cars came with both. All '02 430's from the factory have nav and ML unless it was special ordered differently.
