Unbelievable 2002 GS300 price from CarsDirect.com
People who are currently shopping for a 2002 GS300 need to go check out CarsDirect.com. I went to the site because I remembered a friend had recommended it after I had leased my first GS300 back in 1999. Anyway, the price on there for a 2002 GS300 with Sports Design with Nav and Mark Levinson was $41,634 in the NYC area. That was including options of heated seats and wheel locks. The retail price they listed was $46,961 which means they discounted the car over $5,300. According to the dealer the MSRP was off by $500 but regardless according to my calculations they only made a $1000 over invoice so it's still a great price. You have the choice of applying online or having a dealer in your area contact you. Either way you should get the price on the site or really close to it.

I have a good friend who works for carsdirect. com. Yes, the prices are very reasonable and they do a good job finding the car you want. However, I believe they only work with selected dealerships and it can take a while to get the car you want.

My sister's car came from Carsdirect.com and we picked it up from Longo Lexus. My parents paid less than 39k for a 2001 GS300. It has CD-changer and moonroof, along with VSC... Not sure what else she has on it.

however, my before sales tax and tag price is nearly 2200 bucks less than what you are offered. i guess we have high dmv fee and lux tax here in calif.
good luck with your car shopping.
