yes, its possible. your looking at it....we talked bout this car along time ago. dont think anyone has it, its WAYYYYYY overkill for street use. i think MB uses them on some of their setups though

There is no reason for that at all as any single caliper BBK is capable of more friction stopping power than most tires can hold even race slicks. I can see that set up almost instantly locking up all the time unless highly computer controlled, even then I dont think there would be any efficiency increase in the brakes that way. Looks cool though

I'm with entryspeed, pretty retarded to do it, just a waste of money. Any 6 piston caliper set will be more than enough for anything you are doing

As stated before, Mercedes Benz runs something similar. The S55 has huge calipers in the front that carries 4 pads, two on each side. That's 8 pads just for the front!
