Default drl led module question?

I ordered Leds for my drls and they didn't work. I then did a search and I saw I needed a module and resistor from v-leds. But I see that they are sold out. Now I find this on ebay but it doesnt have the resistor. would it still work?

Just installed mine yesterday (resistors and module) and I believe you need both for our cars.

did you just plug and play them? I ordered some leds but only one turns on then when i connect the other they both shut off.. The reason being is because the drl only runs at 50%.

I'm running a custom wired setup here since mine didn't come with factory DRLs. I'm not sure, u might not even need the resistor. U just need to voltage booster.

BUMP!

So Im about to order the module for the 9005 led DRL conversion, the one in this link : http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED-B...-p6297704.html.

But after reading more info about it, i found out that it doesnt really work? Like one side lights up but the other doesnt. Can anyone shed some light? I never really found an exact answer. Im tired of my amber DRLs!

Old quote, I know, but 1999+ came with DRL's. Mine doesn't have them either.

Just disable drl, the jumper in the fuse box on the DIY page. Put LEDs in the little city light place. If you want drls (??) wire those to ignition.
