Smile question about tire profile and spring drop.

I have just put 20" rims on my GS and it looks great but the ride quality is rough. I have. 245x30x20 all way around with 8.5 width all around and no rubbing issues. I don't want to lower it but I may have to cus the wheel gap is like 4 fingers front and 3.5 in back. Do u think I should just trade in to a 35 series profile and do a 1.0 prokit drop all around. Love the low profile look but atlanta roads suck and also want a little more cushion in the ride back. Ideas..
thanx all

This forum is great I've learned so much already.

35 series and a 1" drop should look great.

Yeah I think a 35 series tires and a eibach pro kit would be nice. Its just a pain now trying to sell these tires I just got. Can't find any tire shops willing to give me a goodprice on my 2 week old tires..arghhh...if it wasn't for all the pot holes around id just keep the 30 series and do a more agressive drop..

Anybody got pics of what they have similarly.

I was going to suggest try selling them here in the classifieds but since your post count is very low, it won't sit well with the mods unless you have a vouch.

I think 35 will be good with springs but don't rule out coilovers. Good luck!

I'd def consider coilovers also. You can get megan ez coilovers under $700 shipped vs. spending $200 on springs (and then another $400 give or take on shocks down the road).

So df210 what springs are those.. I was looking at eibach az I've never had problems with them before. I really don't want a slammed look or a really bouncing spring suspension. I know megan.h&r. Tein also make springs but not sure what has the best look without compromising the ride. If any body in atlanta wants to buy my tire ill sell all 4 for like 300 bucks ive only had em on for like 2 weeks . So they are 98% brand new. They are accelera phi 245/30/20 tires and look nice but im not as young as I used to be so I don't really need that low of profile look cus I got my daughters. Carseat in there and im not gonna slam it so I think a 35 series and a snap.1.2 drop will look fine.

tanabe df210 is what im running and it rides like a lexus on stock wheels
with the 20s its a little more harsh but it still has a good ride even when their is 4 people in the car
