Took out my trusty Mitutoyo Digital Calipers and measured the blade length. I would not have noticed the difference in length except that I held them up alongside each other to compare the blades. (.144 is slightly over 1/8 inch) They are cut on a milling machine (not a laser) but the burrs from the cutting process are not removed. Took care of that with a wire brush. All things considered, they are a great value, even beating Sewell's prices.

My compliments; I never heard of that.

UPS delivered my keys today and they look and work very good. I highly recommend this eBay seller.

They have a guy in charge of Ebay sales. I Emailed him about the blade length, he said that that was what Lexus is supplying now. I don't know if that's true or not, but I really have no complaints about them and like I previously posted, I wouldn't have noticed the blade length if I had not compared the old one with the new. They do not charge for shipping and their Ebay store lists an additional 5% discount on some items.

I bought keys from an aftermarket supplier, they looked identical to the factory Lexus keys but they fell apart almost immediately. I decided to stay with Lexus keys purchased from a dealer.

I really hope they last forever for you. The ones that I bought that fell apart right away also had the same DENSO on the back. Reading the auction listing the first line of the big red type says "2 Simulated Logo Lexus/Shell Keys"

I had problems with the key blades coming lose from the plastic shells in a very short time. I hope your results are better.

FYI -Just be-careful with the keys. I had bought 2 keys on eBay from the same seller and on both of them the blade thickness was different. The problem with that is the difficulty in cutting the key because of how thin it is. I was also told that overtime it will wear out you lock cylinder faster

I didn't use a micrometer to check the blade dimensions, but I will. I Emailed Lexus of North Miami and specifically asked the if the keys they were selling were genuine Lexus replacement parts, and they assured me that they were. So far, everything I have ordered from them has been great and I don't have any reason to doubt that.
