Depends on if your car came with the spoiler from factory. If it did, there's some brackets that are attached which are a PITA to remove. If the spoiler didn't come from factory, it's probably just screwed directly into the trunk and should leave only holes.
It you have a regular spoiler, then yes there will be holes. If you have the M3 style lip spoiler, then no, it's just double sided 3m tape. GL
thanks, i believe the M3 spoiler only came with the 03 Sport Design (I have the 02)

Spoiler defintely came from factory. I might as well take it of this weekend to check if theres a bracket.
