Selling my GS400: Fix it or sell it as is?

Someone backed into my GS last year and put 1500.00 in damage to the rear quarter....per my insurance company. I got a quote from a local shop and they said it would be about 1000.00 to fix. I don't really want to fix it, I just want to sell it.
As a buyer, would you be completely turned off by this damage?
The good: Car is a 2000 Platinum Edition. All of the fluids have been flushed. Did the timing belt due to age not miles. Mileage is 45,000 original miles. Car stored during the winters in a heated garage. No rust. GS430 wheels.
The bad: The damage obviously.
The interior smells new still and other than the damage the car is in great shape.
I have about 25k into the car, but would think that 13k would be a feasible place to start. Should I have it fixed and sell or just sell as is? Thoughts?

If you weren't looking for another car, then the obvious choice is fix her and keep her. You have a clean, low mileage Platinum edition, and damage looks to be cosmetic (ie no frame damage), so that's easily fixed.

sell as-is, when you negotiate, you can say I'll take 250 off your asking price when you mention it to your potential mark (oops, i mean buyer).
The more you disclose without them having to ask, they more they will feel comfortable about it.
Even if it is perfectly repaired, the buyer will think you have done the repair poorly, as compared to the original damage+cash discount and they have the option to do the repair themselves.

sleep on it for a few day before decided what to do.
Unless you already want to part away from your GS at the beginning. (sounds like you already complainted about the speed
)
the damage is really nothing on the rear. You might as well sell as is so buyer can see the damage (tie with carfax?) other then having it fixed then the buyer would wonder what kind of damage it had before and might scared away if they know carfax "Accident"
