tread looks even. The brand is named Potenza. I'm guessing its a combination of the tires being low profile and maybe something else. Brakes seem a little weak but from what I understand the gs400 has underpowered brakes as is.
The noise just sounds like generic road noise rpm has no affect but i guess the fast you go the louder it get until a certain point in which it stays the same which is around 45. Slight vibration in the wheel @ 75+ also

Try rotating the tires fron to back and see if the noise moves to the back. I still think it's the tires and/or alignment.

Those tires look like the original Bridgestone Potenza's that came on the car.

I believe there the same brand and model as the originals. My uncle got the car serviced every year @ inspection time and all work was done by a Lexus dealership so i'm assuming he got the same factory tires installed 10k ago. One of my first mods will be wheels and tires anyway but they do look like that have quite a bit of meat left on them.

Also is it just me or do these cars suck at braking? Considering doing a ls430 brake upgrade like now lol..... If they usually have decent braking then I'll just buy new pads but if not, I may consider the supra upgrade as well for 1200

Thanks for all the nice words! I was thinking about coilovers and springs but those will be after wheels and tires and the rest of the mods get done that I want. Definatly in the mix though.

I was always satisfied with my car's braking, tires make a huge difference. Mine stops noticeably quicker on 20's than stock wheels. I think the LS400 brakes made a difference in braking feel but it's debatable whether there is actually shorter stopping distance. They look alot better though!

I'd rethink the suspension last modding approach if I were you, the car is gonna look even more 4x4 if you put wheels on it with stock suspension; a nice drop makes the car look much more polished and flow so much better.

The car has 108ft stopping distance, what more do you need?? Out stops quite a few exotics.

I guess it just needs a brake job then, comparing it to other cars i've driven, it just doesn't seem like it wants to stop unless i really put my foot in it.

I will probably slap some lowering springs on there but as far as coliovers i will probably hold off since I might put her on air. still not sure but either way the suspension will be played with.

Gas was 3.71 a gallon when i filled up on sunday night. Also the tank wasnt completely empty, went right when the gas light came on.
