Should I paint my rims black??
Hi guys, I have a 2001 gs300, pearl black... Was thinking about painting the stock 17" rims flat black... What are your opinions?? Also, if anyone has done this before, how simple or difficult is it to do this myself? Thanks for any advice or info...

I am saving up for them, but I was just thinking about painting them for the summer and then using them in the winter with snow tires and by next spring I'll just buy some nice wheels...
Thanks for your opinions tho! I'll prolly just stick this summer out with them stock...

dont bother, just save like thes guys said. Without the proper prep work and proper paint, you'll end up just having crappy looking stock rims that look 10x worse then before, especially if your going to use them as snow tires.
If you just want to change the look i would suggest powder coating them, that way they'll survive through the winters.
