Hi guys,
so I just bought a 99 GS400 with 115k miles. Car runs smooth and is much faster than my gs300. I already replaced the air filter, it was filthy.
My questions are:
1. I want to Seafoam the car. I saw a few write ups, but they suggest putting the Seafoam through the "Break booster hose." The way I'm used to doing Seafoam is through the PCV hose or whatever the hose that leads to the engine is called. Now I wanted to know, whats the difference between these two systems of injecting Seafoam to your car. Also, where exactly is the PCV hose on the GS400?
2. I read a write-up on DIY spark plug change and it seems very easy. Now I was wondering what is the best brand of spark plugs to use? I saw some at Pepboys for $2 but that seems really cheap, too cheap.
3. My door locks are going crazy. When I lock the doors, sometimes one of the only unlock, sometimes three, sometimes two, and the same thing with unlocking the doors. Its very annoying having to lock/unlock each door individually. What is the problem here?
Thanks in advance. I hope I can get this beast in tip top shape soon.

All of these things have been discussed so many times on this forum.
1. Doesn't matter whether you use the PCV or the brake booster hose. They both have vacuum and they ultimately lead back to the intake manifold. PCV is connected to the driver side valve cover between next to the 2nd spark plug.
2. Use OEM Denso plugs or the equivalent NGK. They cost about $7/plug. Sparkplugs.com
3. Door lock actuators.

For the spark plugs, which would be better? Platinum TT or Double Platinum?

OEM is iridium so I would go with that.

Register your clublexus username and the price comes out to be $7.53 each. Total shipping should be about $10 or so.
Or if you want to try your local parts store, the part number is Denso SK20R11.

As I was reading around I came across a few articles saying that copper plugs offer the best performance but don't last too long. Anyone have any opinion on this matter or any experience with copper spark plugs?
