Default anyone, help please

cant seem to find answer... it there something to do about the small chrome strip that goes around the car... it seems to be faded silver now. NOT chrome, especially on the bumpers??? thanks

Two choices. A) Replace the trim pieces, or B) Polish them. I've polished them using the plastic polishes available like Meguires, Mothers, or Novus. The polish helps alot, but it's only temporary. Usually last 3-6 months.

buy new ones from the vendors or if you wanna save some change then ebay. Ebay ones are decent but run a search.

I've read somewhere in the detailing section that some folks replaced the chrome strip with the universal one from places like Autozone or Pepboys. It comes in a long strip so you would cut it done to size. The ones on ebay are pre-cut.

go to autozone buy some polishing cream and buff that baby out. The ebay ones will fade faster too, fyi.

There's also a thread on putting black pin stripes on it. I can't remember what size, but I was going to go this route, I sold the car though.
