K&N Air Filter Worth It?

Personally I agree, sure it might save you some in the long run, I have seen filter tests on a flow bench with it and it just passes too much dirt, and after tearing apart my 301 Turbo V8 with a K&N and seeing the scratches in the sides of the pistons, it just isn't worth it in my book to mess with it. Can I prove the K&N did it? No, but why chance it? Paper filters are awesome at the fine dirt filtration.
