As I was trying to clean and condition the leather today, I was going over the dash with the cleaner too until my friend asked if it was actual leather or textured plastic. And... I don't know! I thought almost every surface [except for the obvious brown/woody looking parts] was leather, but next time I clean, I'd like to be sure.

I believe it's plastic of some kind. Just use Armorall or Black Magic. They both work fine.
