I'm new to the Lexus thing and have a pearl white 2000 GS300. I want to get some nice wheels on it, but I don't want it to look goofey. Can you guys show me some pictures of cars on 19-20" wheels that are not lowered?
Do you have to buy aftermarket shocks if you want to lower these cars on springs? I know with most cars if you lower them on the factory strut/shocks they will blow just about instantly.
I was looking at pictures of a guy's car named Anthony and I was really liking that style of wheel. How wide and large of diameter wheel will fit on these cars? Also what offsets are you guys running? I'm not going for a crazy VIP look but I would like something decent.
I have about 30 grand in to a dsm so I don't plan on breaking my bank on my daily driver. Thanks.

I looked and wasn't finding what I wanted. That first car is not the look I'm going for. Thanks for the second picture. That is exactly what I wanted to see. What size and how wide are those wheels? Its going to look much better lowered. No offense.

They definetly look like poo not lowered. What rim width are you guys running on a 20" wheel? I'd like to go as wide in the back as possible. It would be nice to fit a 275 if possible.
Also can these cars be lowered with a set of Tein S's without destorying the factory shock? I was thinking 1.5 inch drop would be good.

You can lower it on springs and stock struts, BUT eventually they'll blow. It also depends how many miles you have on them already. Id just get coils from the start, not only will it save you money down the road but you also have the adjustability of height and dampening.

I know thats the right way to do things but my other car is my money pit. I'm going to have to think about my options. I have a hard time spending money on things that are not speed related. I know if I buy a set of springs and put them on I'm going to look under my car two weeks from now and see oil dripping out of the shocks/struts. Then the car will need to be aligned and probably need a camber kit.
On another note do any of you guys have a passenge side fog light you'd want to sell?
