Had my car parked in the Campus Parking Garage for the Weekend came back and find this:



It's not the worse damage, but the panel still has a fine crack and the paint is hurting

I filed a police report in case I take this to my insurance but I was wondering if it was better to just deal with this myself. I'm sure when I wash the area most of the white paint will come off but I'm not sure what to do about the crack. Any advice. Thanks guys.

I had something similar happen to me, but I went through my insurance as I don't get dinged at all for idiots mishaps like this. I just pay my deductible which is $300.00 and I go on my marry way.

Yeah, I'm not sure what my Policy says about hit and runs, but I can't do anything with my car until I'm back for the Summer. It's depressing I was getting ready to enjoy my car for the Summer. I'm getting a lot of new parts to make it handle like new, and now it's not going to look new.

that is why i dont drive my car to school lol. I got my roof spoiler stolen, get my car driven off. Im done with that lol.

I called my insurance and they said they will count it as a collision so I will just have to pay a $250 deductible. I just need to find a good body shop around Columbus now so my car will look nice again.

it also happened to me last year. I got out of the mall and found my right bumper has scratch. it was the only scratch on my car. and yes, I had to pay $250 deductible for hit and run. I think DMV should make it harder to get driver license, so there aren't so much morrons on the street.
