Default Driver Side Heated Seat Failure

My driver side seat heater failed, and right before it quit it got really hot in the front left corner and then I got a hot electrical smell and then it quit. Anyone ever been down this road?

TBH, i never use heated seats. Just turn on the heater. Or put a towel on the seat.

There's no visible burn mark on mine, but I had pants on it got crazzy hot even through my pants. Have you tried to get a replacement seat or get yours repaired? I was wondering if there were any guys out there that put upgraded seats in and wanted to sell their OEM seat. Mine is gray like yours.

Any good leads on swapping your seats? Just curious where you have looked and what kind of pricing you've found.

What was the road hazard damage? Just to let you know there's some black seats for sale on Ebay.
