Indeed I should have known better when the wife came outside and proclaimed it as her car that it's a strong possibility that services as rudimentary as this may have been neglected. To second thought that, I wish I would have spied the broken/zip tied connectors sooner. I would have lower balled the seller. In all honesty I was looking for a customizable GS and this is what I got. So by the time it's done I'll be a happy man.

Some updates I wasn't able to post earlier. As I was getting dressed for work today, my door bell rings. I thought to myself, " who in the world can that be?" So my wife answers the door an I hear a small bit of rustling, nothing disturbing. After I'm finish I head downstairs, as I approach the box I start mumbling "what the heck is that?" when the light flicks on in my brain I get all excited NEW ACCESSORIES!!! ( smiling like kid with candy ).

Is it possible that the previous owner overheated and continued to drive it? I mean, that looks like lack of oil changes and a serious overheat issue combined

I agree. Between all the other "techs" at our shop and myself, that's what we all concluded quickly lol. To top it off the dirt type material in the skirts of the piston definitely confirms that. The cool thing about it was the derbis stuck in the piston kind of sank inward like quicksand on the skirt, so the one cylinder was not scored deeply enough to say it needs an overbore. Of course If a hone doesn't clean it up then I'll just grab another longblock.

Lol.....keeping it 1uzfe. I just want to keep it wholesome, as the 2jz/ls1 speed/hi-whp is not my goal. Just something simple and clean, that resonates my preference(s). I do not plan to sell the car, but again simple, suttle, and clean is my aim. I do plan to come up with a roots style supercharger design down the road ( God willing ). If that makes keeping the 1uz sound any better.

I'm already late so I'd just like to post these quickly before I dash out the door. Big Thanks to Paul @ PPE ( headers, header flanges, exh. flanges, flex pipes, bolts, and some misc metal spacer/washers??? ).
