HAHA I don't know about this V8 but I'm sure there are some out there.

Boring updates, just experimenting w/ some parts since I have down town. Cleaned & I tried the black wrinkle finish. Mirrors the carbon composite fuel rails on the market, so kinda cool. Used a brilliant pipe cleaner I got from my welder. More pics later as I coat/refinish/freshen up old parts.

Before and after solution w/ a light scrub

i thought the v8 could already pull off on the 2jzgte stock....the 2jzgte (twin turbo) makes what about 270ish stock, the v8 makes 300 stock....

Fair price I suppose. I know the owner of the shop. Very nice lady. I used her for some of my honda builds and customer requests.

Tell me about it ....................I was thinking maybe slap some clear high heat paint on there. It may dull a lil bit, but I can handle it, just = less elbow grease on the long run.

Thanks TMF, me too man, me too! It wont be nothing special, but I just cant wait to drive it. I drove my buddies gs4 on air and I was quiet pleased so ad one more item on the things to do list.

Small update, finished up fuel rail #2. ( I think ill hand polished the hardware, and TB, not the lower portion of the IM )

Thank You Mike.

Still around guys, just busy! work work work, no play.

Few updates:

- Engine rebuild, still on going. Had to find another short block. Old block once honed had a low spot in one of the cylinder walls.

- custom cams on the way

- non-factoid updates coming this week. LOL

it ended up with a few scratches on it though after installing and removing it again so when i have my hand surgeries im fixing to have and wont be driving i will probably just have it either professionally wrinkle black powder coated along with my RMM strut bar (if/when i ever get it) or i will just strip it and redo it but make sure this time it dries properly
