Default Ticking from tranny

Hi guys,
I have a 2001 gs300 and I just noticed lately that the car has been stalling on acceleration sometimes and when it switches from 2 to 3rd once in a while it make a loud clunk and slam into gear. Then today I notice that when I turn the car off there's a rattling noise coming from the tranny. If I hit it or put my hand with pressure on the tranny oil pan the sound will stop but when I let go it'll continue. It ticks for quite a while I sat for about 2 minutes before it went a way. I'm sure it's coming from the tranny and nothing else I tried different areas and it seemed to be the tranny. Could this be the tranny starving for oil. I thought about doing a tranny flush with filter change but the tranny fluid is still reddish with just a tint of brown. I think I might have to change it after all. Any suggestions?

Okay so when the car is cold, no rattling, I put it into all gears and no rattling at all. Drives smooth with no odd noises but lags abit on the gear switching and the occasional thunk. Once the car warms up and I turn it off there's a rattling from the trans. With the car on, it makes the noise also but only when it's hot and seems to rattle it's way cool then stops.

Tranny mounts? Might as well go ahead and do a drain and fill. Don't flush it.
