GS300 Timing Chain or Belt (1999)
#17
Ok maybe i didnt take some of the comments very well.. sorry about that.
Let me explain a few things and then were done with this post...
First off i am divorced from wife (this is her car) and she called me from the dealer with a pending $900 bill for: Oil seals, timing belt, water pump etc etc.. I know you do all this stuff at one time as we have with our other cars..
It was my fault for thinking it was a chain not a belt and for not verifying.. thought at the 90k miles service someone would have corrected me on that but i was wrong. (cant believe it didnt break by now, guess im lucky there)
I do know the difference between the GS and ES and a straight line 6 and a V6.. I like the straight line 6 best because of the rear wheel drive over front, and that engine has been around a long time with the Supra, and i was always a fan of the Supra..
So i didnt have much time to search for an answer with her on the phone with me and having to call the dealer right back the so thats why the quick question.. hoping for a quick answer. My bad. I did do a search and found all I needed to know after the fact..
I can appreciate everyones humor and wont take offense.
Thank you for your comments and knowledge I appreciate it.

isnt the point of being divorced that you DON'T have to pay for her stuff anymore?
