I have both and the all weather mats are rubbery and the digital fit liners are more like a hard plastic.

I had a set of the OEM's I sold them though, they had been in the car since new and the factory carpet looked soo good i figured it was time someone enjoyed them since the car has 205k+ now.. probably the highest mileage GS with new looking carpet lol..

After having Liners installed I could never go back to mats. Liners offer much better coverage, fit better, and do a better job of protecting your vehicle.

BIGMerle,

I have them installed in my 4 runner. I would be more than happy to post pictures for you if you would like but they are not installed in a GS. Would you still like to see some pictures?

I would say don't get too carried away. At some level, what are you protecting it for?

It's like the old lady who covers the couch in vinyl for 30years, putting up with the feel of plastic to "preserve" the fabric.

If it's not in a snow/mud season; there's something to be said about having luxurious carpet under your feet rather then plastic/rubber.

Even if you make a mess or wear through your carpet mats or floorbed, a new set of mats is not exorbitantly expensive and covers up the previous mess.
