Question Has anybody bought stuff Intense Motorsports?

While searching for Lexus body kits, I stumbled across a site called Intense Motorsports selling stuff for the Lexus GS.

http://www.i-m-racing.com/lexgs.html

Has anybody bought stuff from them and what was your experience? I'm not familiar with prices of aftermarket parts so I was wondering how do their prices look? Thanks.

RA: can you give us a little more info. Have you purchased from them before? Have any juicy stories to tell? I too have been checking out that web-site but have not ordered from them yet. I do know SRT seems to have alot of faith in them since all of their products seem to be distrubited through them.

No, I have not dealt with them before. My statement is judged by the price they list online. $3995 for blitz kit is a rip-off. Eibach spring for $296 is also a rip-off.

Default bit more

They want 316.00 for the Eibachs. 296+20 for a GS. Even worse.

Nice site though

RA, thats what I was thinking until I looked closer...
Look at the price for the SRT stage II SC for the 98-00 GS400.... They are listing it at $5650 for 359rwhp... Doesnt SRT themselves list it for closer to 8k, or does that include all installation also????

I still say someone on this board needs to take the plunge and buy the "Egoist" trunk lid........ That thing is sick! Its been around for a few years and Ive never seen it on a car...

OK I think I've got my answer about this site. So if I want to buy ground effects kits or suspension and handling items, where should I go? Steve G @ Carson Toyota?

Steve Ganz does have very competitve prices on varies aftermarket parts. This is specially true if you live out of California where you won't pay any tax for the parts.

Thanks RacingAristo. Steve Ganz was very quick to respond to my email and everybody has been highly recommending him. I also read some of the customer testimonials on l-tunedparts.com and they all praise him.

Yes, Steve's customer service is what Lexus should always be. He gets back to you, he's patient, he's professional, and he doesn't B.S.

Default Buying From Intense Motorsports=

I tried buying the SRT ECU from them. I ordered it online, got an email confirming and never heard from them again. They didnt bill my credit card, they didnt do anything.. they didnt answer their phone, they didnt reply back to my emails, they didnt return my calls. They suck and they dont care about customer service as they claim they do. Avoid their deals, not deals at all.

well,
I think I've had fortunate experience with intense motorsport if all these negative input is correct. I bought srt intake and ecu package from them for $525. I did talked to them on weekly basis and they seems to tell me what was going on. However I had to wait 4weeks for delivery and they said that they were waiting on shipments from srt which was the delay. I believe they have srt intakes in stock now and I don't see why they won't be able to ship it right away. Other then waiting for my intake, I had ok service with them, especially with pricing which is better then srt direct.

Default do you have their phone number?

dude-

they've never picked up their phone, ever. maybe you've got a special bat phone straight to their place. but i'm starting to think they went out of business.
