Today when press the lock button on my key the beep noise my car makes to let me know its locked stays on until i press the unlock button again. I dont know what is going on? Once i press the unlock key to make it stop i can hit the lock button and it works fine, only seems to do it every now and then and just started doing that today. Could it be the batteries going dead in my key or something wrong with the car? Please let me know what you guys think i have an app on monday at the dealer for and unrelated issue.

It sounds like a door is open or your car thinks it's open. Maybe a sensor problem, since it locks after the second try. Mine does that only when my door isn't completely closed and I press lock.

As GS300-101 said, it sounds like a door sensor is in need of help. The only time the beep is to stay on, is when you press the lock button and a door or the trunk is not closed, so you don't walk away from your car thinking all is well. I would check all the doors and trunk, if all is fine, then have the dealer check the door and trunk sensors to make sure they are working properly. Good luck on Monday.
